In line with our purpose of Creating Meaningful Connections, we wish every success to all Asahi Europe & International colleagues who will be participating in the One Young World Summit 2022 in Manchester, United Kingdom from 5th to 8th September.

This year’s summit is an opportunity to celebrate the city’s youthful dynamism, talent, and history, as well as help create opportunities for its young people who are taking action to create positive, peaceful, and impactful change in the years to come.

Grolsch puts new Twence heat pipeline into operation

At the end of December, Grolsch (part of Asahi Europe & International) began using sustainable heat from Twence - the first company to receive sustainable heat directly from this source in the form of hot water for industrial processes, such as heating pasteurizers and rinsing machines. With this development, Grolsch is thus taking another step forward in its energy transition ambition to become a climate neutral brewery.

Gambrinus Celebrates 150 years. Cheers!

One of the most popular Czech beer brands has just celebrated a major anniversary. 150 years ago, a group of entrepreneurs and businessmen met in a Pilsen pub and decided to establish the second modern brewery in town. Before long, the foundation stone was laid, and only a year later, in December 1870, the first barrels of the new beer were being sold to customers. Thus, Pilsen took another important step to becoming the beer capital of the country.
